This was a gift for my dad's 60th birthday and he really loved it. He couldn't stop flipping through it after opening it and is still reading it and talking about it weeks later. He's the biggest car guy around and it's so hard to find him something car related that he doesn't already have. He was really stumped on how I was able to find such a cool book that he had never seen before at any local bookstores. Five stars.

It's a really good book it's got 1935 Peugeot 402's to 1943 Willy's IN Jeeps to 1945 VW Beetlesand Oldsmobile 4-4-2's as well! But I didn't can't find a Corvette. It's also got.VW Kombi's, Baja Bugs, Caddilac's and so on. I love it and it has two prints of a 1949 Pontiac Chieftain Convertible and a 1962 Shelby Cobra. So if you like old cars and want a book to learn about them this may be the perfect book for you!

Gave this book to an avid classic car lover for her birthday and she absolutely LOVED it. The illustrations are so bright and beautiful and the book itself is the perfect coffee table book for the car lover in your life.

He seems determined to keep her save and find out what’s going on. As the dangerous incidents pile up, the mystery gets even more muddled.I loved this book to start with. It is one of the best I’ve read by Lynette Eason and an excellent mystery. It became so good I stayed up much too late to finish it and see who else was involved. It was apparently someone close to Alexia or at least knew her well. Then, the book just ended without anything being solved. I was so disappointed and felt cheated. I think an author has an understood contract with a reader to provide a complete story. To do otherwise, especially without indication, is dishonest. Such practices are bad enough on any level, but, for a Christian writer, it is even more despicable. I feel sure this is not God’s will. It is undoubtedly a marketing ploy to force readers to buy the rest in the series. Well, it does the opposite for me. I will not be manipulated in such an underhanded way. I would never buy the other books in the series now. And, as much as I like Lynette Eason’s writing, I will be leery of her books from now on. I considered whether to give the book one or two stars, for, despite the lack of an ending, it is well-written. However, considering how much I hate this practice, I’m always going to rate books with no ending and no warning of that a one.

I was extremely disappointed in this book since the mystery was never resolved. Who writes a mystery without an ending!!!!

I chose this rating because the story never really ended-just abruptly stopped!!! It really kept me wanting to read more, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it just leaves youhanging!!!

Strongly disliked it. Any book should be inclusive in itself. This one is NOT. Most questions raised from beginning are NOT answered and you must get the next book, and probably the one thereafter to finally (hopefully) find the answers you were anticipating from almost the beginning. Will NOT buy any books by this author again. If I do, it will be because I've put her name out of my mind and will probably rate the new book(s) the same way. The author needs to learn to write her books in such a way that the reader DOES NOT HAVE TO BUY THE NEXT BOOK in the series to get answers (or reasons for character's actions). If she had done that, I probably would buy every book in the series as they come out. NO MORE.

I'm giving this 2 stars, but that's it. The action was good and the lesson on God was inspiring without being too "preachy". While I do like to read "series" of books, I like each book to resolve itself. Dee Henderson does this expertly in her O'Malley series. Each book is about a different person in a family, but you get to know the whole family better with each book. With this book just when you thought you would find out who really was doing the dirty deed, the book just ended. I had to flip back through the pages to see if I'd missed something. I really wished I'd read the reviews about this book before I read it, I would not have bothered with it. The one phrase that the author used TOO MANY times was, "She chewed on her lip," or a variation of it. Even though the main character got beat up pretty badly in the end, I was surprised she had any lip left to bloody. She just kept chewing on it.

When Alexis chooses to run from one problem and returns to her home town, she runs head first into more than she can handle. The reader who enjoys dead ends and lots of curves will not be disappointed with this gripping suspense. I highly recommend the book and look forward to reading more by Lynette Easton.

NOTE: This is book 1 of a series and it does not stand alone, nor can these books be read out of order. Also, this is a Christian Romantic/Suspense story. I didn't learn any of this from the reviews I read. Now that I have finished the book, I found out in the last 10 minutes of reading that there is no real end to the book. We have to buy the rest of the series to learn the ending of the story. I am offended as a reader to not be told all this before I read the book. I won't be buying the rest of the series as it's too expensive. I won't tell you what the story is about as you can read other reviews to find that out. I will tell you the story line is confusing. I'm giving this book 1 star because I am sorry I wasted time reading it for all the reasons I just described.

I absolutely love reading Lynette Eason's novels for each one is a delicious mystery waiting to be opened up and explored! The suspense that she provides from the first word to the very last keeps you on the edge of your seat hoping for more and more. Finally, what I was looking for. An easy and realistic vegan cookbook. This is useful for anyone who doesn't want to spend much time on food preparation. Everything can be done in the microwave, but, honestly, you can add steps to suit individual taste. I have a big collection of vegan cookbooks, but they mostly are not used because I don't want to spend a few hours a day buying ingredients, chopping, cooking and cleaning. I do it for guests and if I'm in the mood, but never for every day. This cookbook adds options for us minimalists who want to eat well but keep it simple.

The book itself is of good quality, but I did not like the recipes. Most of them are unappetizing and unhealthy, which I now realize that it was not advertising healthy recipes. I liked the idea of this book, but as a college student, I do not eat microwaved food every day and want to enjoy a healthy vegan lifestyle. I am a new vegan and this book did not help me with my transition, but it might help students who live in dorms with only a microwave for cooking.

I am a huge peta supporter and i love vegan recipes (and am in college.) but this is just a book about how to microwave things with pre made products. i cook from scratch and like to eat healthy so this book wasn't for me.

This is perfect for people who don't have time to cook, and throw everything in the microwave. It's very simple. It is aimed for college students who eat ramen noodles and are always on the go. My biggest disappointment was that it doesn't have any pictures inside, which makes it hard for me to page through and find something that looks yummy to me, when it's an endless blur of black text.Although the recipes have microwave directions, one could always make them on the stove instead.Btw, Fake meat sounds unhealthy when you use the word "fake" but really is not all that unhealthy. It's made from vegetables and plant based items not plastic. It's a replacement made from healthier things not a plastic ham. It has less cholesterol and doesn't contain hormones. Hot dogs made from meat are what I'd really be worried about, do you know how that is made?If you don't mind cooking, I'd recommend "Oh she glows cookbook", it has beautiful pictures for every recipe, and are all Vegan. Look it up on Amazon.

I am well-beyond the normal college-age. I also own a stove.This book helped me a lot in the early years of wanting to experiment with vegan food. Years later (and more experienced at cooking/baking). I STILL grab this book for those days I'm in a hurry, lazy, etc. and just want a quick meal and I'm blank on what to eat!Tip: For those who may have food allergies or sensitivities, you can be flexible and sub most things in this book: For instance: For those avoiding soy: Just use coconut milk (or other alt milk of choice), use a rice-based, almond-based, or coconut milk-based yogurt, in appropriate recipes that call for tofu or sour cream or cream cheese, or if you can eat nuts: use cashews or other nuts for certain soy-based sauces, cheeses. For vegan cheeses, use gluten and soy-free daiya cheese shreds or wedges.For gluten free: Use gf breads, gf flours, instead of oats, use quinoa (flakes or regular). (Example for the Knock-Oats, I use quinoa flakes vs oatmeal, and a soy-free peanut butter (Santa Cruz brand). For refined sugar-free: Use agave, maple syrup or coconut sugar.You can also make these recipes on a hotplate, stove/oven or toaster oven vs microwave if desired. Take this book with you when travelling, too! VERY handy! Also great as an emergency/disaster book, imo.I hope that they come up with an updated version of this book, soon what with the updated vegan products and tips for those with the ever-increasing food sensitivities and allergies.

I’m not a cooking master by any means. Can’t do much besides cooking boxed macaroni and cheese, so trying to be vegan in college (while my school serves no vegan food) was a struggle. This book came fast and gave me so many easy and tasty ideas. I just made a nacho recipe from the book today and it was filling and delicious! And all of the recipes that require cooking use the microwave, which is great if your hall doesn’t have a stovetop or oven. I’ve marked a lot of recipes that look good and after the nachos, I’m excited to try more of them!

The recipes all seem yummy, simple, and affordable which is exactly what I was looking for. It also includes special sections just for certain ingredients such as peanut butter and ramen. The part that I can't stand, however, is that every recipe also has some stupid college-stereotype-related joke. The jokes had me cringing, and eventually I stopped previewing the recipes because I was so annoyed. I'm sure this book will be very useful, but it could have seriously done without the corny studying/flirting/partying jokes. It seems more like it was written by someone trying to be funny to college students rather than someone who could actually relate to them.

It's awesome very simple recipes an taste is amazing. You don't have to follow the exact way of cooking such as boil instead of microwave.
